AI video generation tool (version 2.0 as of April 2026, referred to as “Cance 2.0” in Nate Herk’s transcript). Specialises in animating a still image into a short looping video using first-frame / last-frame control — a technique used to produce hero background videos for Claude Design prototypes.
Key facts
- Type: AI video generation tool
- Status: Active (v2.0, April 2026)
- Use case in ecosystem: Animating Krea.ai-generated stills into looping MP4s for Claude Design hero sections
What it does
Kling AI takes a still image as input and generates a smooth animated video. The first-frame / last-frame technique constrains both the start and end frames, producing a seamless loop. Output is used upstream of Claude Design: image prompt → Krea.ai (Nano Banana 2 model) → still image → Kling 2.0 → animated MP4 → upload to Claude Design as a 3D/scroll-driven hero background. [009]
