Generative AI Reference Implementations

Reference repositories compress learning by turning platform documentation into runnable notebooks, applications and infrastructure examples. They are most useful as tested implementation catalogues: pin a revision, run the example, extract the relevant pattern, then harden it for the target environment [src-267][src-268].

Production boundary

A notebook is not a production system. Teams still need dependency pinning, secret handling, IAM, regional checks, tests, evaluation, observability, cost controls, deployment automation and ownership. Google explicitly labels its generative-ai repository demonstrative rather than officially supported [src-267].
